Standard Lunch + A New Haircut!

Since starting my new job a couple of weeks ago, lunch has become this pretty standard salad, which I grab from the cafeteria downstairs. They have a good selection of greens, fresh veggies, grilled veggies, and beans. Pretty much the perfect lunch in my book.

Everything else I pack for the day (Chobani or oats & banana for breakfast, plus carrots, apples, and raw almonds for snacks) I've been bringing from home. Still looking to get into a better prep routine with the new commute!

Tonight is the Series Finale of 30 ROCK!! I am so sad :( Found this gem of a cover story last night while waiting to get my haircut. I HIGHLY recommend reading the piece (you can find it on RollingStone.com), the interview section with Tina Fey was making me laugh out loud. Her one-liners are just too much!!


Which brings me to my other update for today: I got a haircut! Woohoo!! I chopped off all the unhealthy ends of my hair and asked for some slight angles/layers. My hair is REALLY fine and straight.. so there's not much more excitement that can be done with it.


Workouts this week have included HIIT intervals and strength training. My leg day was Tuesday and I am STILL sore today. YIKES. Strrrreeeetchinnnng is definitely on the agenda for tonight.

  1. My standard lunch is either a sandwich or quinoa and veggie mix, a greek yogurt, and a piece of fruit. That's what I eat about 95% of the time. I'm so sad about 30 rock ending, and will definitely be watching tonight!
